Prototyping is an integral part of the process, to ensure the product fits inside correctly, make sure its not loose, or too tight so it damages the product. At this stage we would look at materials to suit your product, whether it’s a folding board, white lined chip or special material at the correct weight.
Using CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design / Computer Aided Machine ) we would design the carton on CAD, ensuring its correct down to the 0.1 of a mm, as with carton board this can be the difference with something working, or not working. Once drawn up, we would use the CAM to make a plain white sample to check your contents fit, the carton makes up correctly with nothing off to stop it performing as it should and if any changes need to be made, go back to the CAD to make these changes, and produce another sample on the CAM to test the product.
Once we are happy with the sample and fit, we would then look to produce perfect samples which would be sent out to you for approval so you can test yourself for the make up of the carton, inserting your product in, and closure.
